An international workshop on “Green Jobs and Climate Change” had been organized in Magdeburg by the international cooperation team of the Institute for Vocational Education and Human Resource Management, with the support of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GIZ GmbH Regional Office East Germany, from 10 to 13 December 2012. Participants had found their way from Mozambique, Indonesia and Vietnam to engage with representatives from businesses and manufacturing as well as from chambers, research institutions and other educational institutions. The 4-day program comprised presentations, interactive workshop sessions and study visits during which the participants had the opportunity to share experiences and discuss latest developments in the field of renewable energies, especially solar and wind power and training for renewable energies.
