As the Mongolian economy develops in various industrial sectors with the introduction of new technology, the demand for skilled workers with a technical and vocational education and training (TVET) qualification is rising continuously. Improvements here would provide more and better employment opportunities for Mongolians.
Despite the extensive efforts made by the Government of Mongolia (GoM) to improve TVET in the last years, further improvements are needed in training TVET teachers, in providing practice-oriented and industry-related training, and in management and quality processes.
The OvGU in it’s Cooperation with the GIZ develops further Training Materials and provides specially designed Training Courdes and further Training courses under the umbrella of the TVET Academy. The first 15 students received their online training courses in the 2021/2022 winter term with a second and third batch expected for the following terms respectively.
